Is your Career On Purpose?
Some people consider their work “just” a job, a source of
income, perhaps mental stimulation. But many of us realize after initial success
that we want something more. We want our life's work to not only be financially rewarding, but to be an expression of our
passion, purpose, values and talents. When we are "on purpose" we are more likely to be both successful and happy. Research also suggests that happy people are much more likely to be financially successful, not the opposite.
The Truth:
- Fulfilling careers and lives usually don’t happen by chance, most people that have found meaningful work
have assumed responsibility to clarify their own life purpose and then create a
career or business that keeps them on that purposeful path and in balance with the rest of their lives.
- It is easy to get thrown off a purposeful course when we try to satisfy all the competing agendas of stakeholders in our life: spouses, bosses, investors, employees, co-workers,
family members and friends. Working with a coach can help you to stay focused, clear, and accountable.
That is where I come in.
I help mid-career professionals and business owners to become less
stressful and more successful by aligning their career, business and life goals with their authentic purpose and talents.
